    Default cloth rendering with iray

    Hello,

I have tried to render a deformed cloth with iray. Although the per vertex normals seemed correct to me, the result is not smooth and it is faceted (please see the image below).

I send the mesh file I am using. Besides, here is my options block if necessary:

    Code:
    options "options"
    		object space
    		shadow on
    		contrast 0.1 0.1 0.1 0.1
    		desaturate off
    		dither off
    		samples 1 3
    		scanline off
    		face both
    		hardware off
    		"iray" on
    		"progressive" on
    		"progressive min samples" 40
    		"progressive max samples" 500
    		"progressive error threshold" 0
    		"iray devices" "0"
    		globillum off
    		caustic off
    		trace on
    		trace depth 5 5 10
    end options
Can somebody explain me the point that I am doing wrong?

    Thanks in advance,
    Asha

I guess the normals are not properly shared in your mesh. How do you create it ?

Here is what I got out of Maya nCloth with iray:
