Default filmback offset in mr vs. iray

    Hi all,

I created a simple .mi file with two spheres and one camera. I then added an offset to the filmback. Mental ray seems to handle it well - the camera position shifts as I would expect. iray wraps the scene content around to the other side of the image. Bug? Or "unexpected feature"? =)

    Thanks,
    J

Hmm. Back offset in the Maya custom back offsets menu? That should just change what the transform is being put out to mi.

oops, that wasn't about motion offsets, duh. I see its the camera offset attribute.

I'm not seeing the issue in my version....

There is a (known) bug which causes negative camera offsets to fail in some circumstances. This is fixed internally, but hasn't been released yet.
