Default Using mental ray 3.8.1 for rendering max 2011 scenes without any result

The maya is exported to mi file. It works well.
We have exported 3dsmax file to mi file.
Please find it in the attachment.
We render the MI file by mentalray standalone 3.8.
At the beginning, The error message of ctrl_ghost_settings.dll and mi file could not found.
When we copy the two files from 3dsmax 2011, the error message disappears.
It does not show any error message.
But we could not get any output image file.

Which standalone and how was it installed? If it was AD 2011 standalone, I think the shaders should have come with it. So the initial error indicates a problem; there may be more issues with the installation or your rayrc file setup when using standalone. When you say you copied ctrl_ghost_settings, where did you copy it to, to make it not get the file not found error? Also, it is not part of the standard 3ds max shaders set, so how was it installed for 3ds max?

The render report would be valuable for further debugging the issue.

I notice that the ctrl_ghost_settings weren't even used in this scene, right?

Default It is OK now. But could not find the bimap file

We can export 3dsmax file to mi file.
But the bitmap files in 3dsmax file is the absolutive path, not relative path.
So we could not render mi file in render farm system.
    How can we solve it?

3ds max should have recommendations on how to solve that issue.

I seem to recall some support utility for gathering up all the texture files to get them ready for this. Perhaps someone with better 3ds max knowledge can chime in here?
