    Default cubemap trouble

When I export to Maya from Mental Mill Beta, the cubemap orientation is wrong (inverted in z) unless I have the Maya world coordinate system set to Z up (instead of Y up, which is what our pipeline uses). - its very obvious if you have any writing on your cubemap because it will be (correctly) reversed in the mental mill preview reflection but not reversed in Maya.

I have managed to work round this by creating my own custom cubemap lookup nodes which flip the z, but I thought you might want to fix it anyway

Inverted you say? That's interesting - seems I never looked close enough at the reflected environment on the geometry in maya

One known and somehow unavoidable issue is, that reflections are rotated by 90 degrees, since some applications use 'y' for up and others 'z', which causes this rotation. But as I said, it's somehow hard to avoid and fixing this in the shader is the best way to go.

Yeah, its really nice the way you can create your own MetaSL nodes because so far I've been able to work round any issues and limitations I've come across this way.
