    Default Problem with complex shaders

    Hi,

    I started testing RealityServer and basic scenes seem to work great, but I have problems with more complex shaders.

    Shaders like lambert, phong or mib_illum_blinn seem to work great. I have trouble getting shaders like mia_material and mi_car_paint_phen to work. It seems to be a compilation error.

    These specific shaders render just like grey lambert.
    I exported the scene with RealityDesigner from Maya 2008.

    Can the version of visual studio be the problem? I am using Visual C++ 2008 9.0 and not 8.0 as mentioned in the docs.

    Its hard to say whats going wrong by just looking at the log. Could you upload the Maya scene so I can have a look?

    Seems that the problem were to long command lines when it tried to compile the files.
    The "trick" with the compile.bat file from the RealityServer forum helped.

    I think it is worth to be mentioned in the docs in the windows setup section to save users a lot of time.
