Hi Bart,
I too would like to get on the beta forum.
I use mentalray mostly for photorealistic work, and I'm particularly interested in framebuffer solutions.
Currently I'm using os x which has relatively few 3rd party shaders, so I have recently decided to try tackle some of my own.
