supported graphics cards

Hello,

in the installation guide for RealityServer there are only graphics cards of the quadro series mentioned as being supported.

Are there any known consumer cards supported, such as 8500, 8600? I tried a 8800 GTX, which was running quite instabil (I am not sure whether that was a graphics card issues though or not).

Hello Feuermelder,

On page 1 the current RealityServer 2.1 Installation Guide mentions a list of supported graphics cards for hardware rendering usage. This may work with other graphic card types also, but a smooth behavior cannot be guaranteed.

The reason for my question was that only Quadro - cards were mentioned on that page in the installation guide and I was wondering if you have ever tried the performance with a non - Quadro card.
