I'm having some odd behavior with the material editor preview and my custom shader. It doesn't display anything for reflection / refraction, as though those trace calls returned black pixels. Is this a quirk with how the "scene" that it previews is setup?

Can anyone share experience with fixing this?

just in case you can write custom code for it by checking scene options data.. when rendering material slots the isMtlEdit is on.
