Hi guys from Mental Images !

Meanwhile there are some interesting examples on the market wich show us the possibilities of RS, and wich give us a view to the future.
Some guys are very interested to learn RS and some are interested to buy this solution for their company.
Are there official prices for RS ( I know the Developer Version is for free ) but I talk about a commercial Version.

Would be fine to get a positive answer.

Regards Seeda.

Hello Seeda,

Good to hear that there is high interest in RealityServer!
While the developer version license actually permits you to deploy personal (non-commercial) applications using RealityServer, our commercial offerings are geared towards corporate solutions, priced per CPU/GPU. The compute power required for RealityServer applications can vary significantly based on the type of application, number of users, etc.

We'd be very interested to learn more about the solutions the users have in mind. They are invited to contact us in confidence at sales@mental.com and we will get back to them.

Best regards,
ak

Thanks for your fast reply !

If I understand you right, it is not possible to buy RS itself, so it is combined only with hardware? Or is it just a service, using the RS enginees.

That wouldn`t be the best solution for many companies because they want to make their own RT evolution and own RT research, that means if the enginee is not their own , that is contraproductive.

I hope that I missunderstood you. :D

No, RealityServer is a scalable software platform, but the it supports various numbers of CPUs and GPUs running parallel in a network. This is needed to speed up render time, where one RealityServer licence per CPU or GPU is needed. So the costs for a RealityServer setup to depends on the amount of hosts that should be used for rendering.

Hope that clarifies.
